Problem :
The project originated from conversations with a creative agency based in Toronto that wanted to introduce Artificial Intelligence into its workflow, recognizing that many agencies are adopting AI to improve efficiency and remain competitive. However, they had a clear requirement: AI should support the team, not replace the people behind the work.

Challenge :
One of the main challenges we faced during the development of D-BRIEF was understanding how AI could be effectively integrated into a creative agency’s workflow. While we used AI tools regularly, our knowledge was mostly at the user level, and we needed a deeper understanding of how AI systems could support agency processes.
To address this, we conducted research, analyzed the agency’s workflow, and consulted AI specialists. Through these discussions, we learned that teams spend a significant amount of time creating creative briefs and project documentation. While necessary, these tasks are often repetitive and can delay the start of the creative phase.


Solution :
D-BRIEF is an AI-powered briefing assistant that supports creative agencies during the Discovery and Briefing phases of a project. By transforming client meeting notes and project information into structured creative briefs, it reduces administrative work and improves efficiency. Rather than replacing the initial client meeting, D-BRIEF was intentionally designed to preserve it, recognizing that human interaction is essential for building trust, understanding client needs, and establishing strong client relationships. Future versions may also support the creation of Scopes Of Work.
How it works
After the discovery meeting, agency teams upload meeting notes, documents, transcripts, brand guidelines, and project requirements into the platform. D-BRIEF then analyzes the information and automatically generates a structured creative brief, scope of work, content recommendations, and a professionally designed, presentation-ready document. The system also identifies missing or unclear information, helping teams address gaps before moving forward.
Agency team members remain in control throughout the process by reviewing, editing, and refining the generated brief and design as needed. Once approved, D-BRIEF automatically prepares and delivers the final version to the client, streamlining the transition from discovery to project execution.
